OUR FACILITY

Bloom Hockey Training Centre.

BHTC’s specialized camp is an immersive, skill-building experience for hockey and ringette players of every level. Across multiple sessions, our synthetic ice surfaces replicate real-ice conditions year-round, promoting shooting, stickhandling, and overall technique improvement without the high operational costs of a traditional rink.

Personalized Coaching

Players receive tailored instruction from experienced coaches who can identify individual strengths and areas for improvement.

Skill Development

Focused training allows for concentrated practice on specific skills such as skating, puck handling, shooting, and game strategy.

Advanced Techniques

Coaches introduce advanced drills and techniques that may not be covered in regular team practices, helping players to elevate their game.

Game Scenarios

Players can practice in game-like situations, which helps them develop their in-game IQ and decision-making skills under pressure.

Strength and Conditioning

We offer off-ice training programs that focus on strength, agility, and conditioning, which are crucial for hockey performance.

Feedback and Assessment

Regular feedback from coaches helps players track their progress and make necessary adjustments to their training.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your operating hours?
Monday to Friday 3pm to 9pm, saturday and sunday 8am to 9pm, for holiday hours, events or booking outside these hours please email: info@bloomhockey.ca
BHTC’s synthetic ice is made of unique plastic that is self lubricating. It creates a surface replicating a real ice surface very closely.

We require outside shoes to be taken off. Indoor shoes can be worn in the facility. Synthetic ice is very sensitive to debris, indoor shoes help protect our ice surface.

We ask that the parents and siblings remain in our lounge during the session and not in the training centre unless they purchased an additional lane. This is for two reasons, one is the players may have their skates on for the shooting session and two our shooting area will only accommodate your teams players and coaches.

BHTC offers many options tailored for athletes to grab a pre or post session snack.
For safety reasons, the maximum people per lane is 2.
Skates are recommended so you are shooting at the correct height of the stick but not required. If you decide to shoot in your shoes please bring in indoor shoes that are clean and non marking.
We require white tape only as the black tape marks up the synthetic ice.
